WOOHOO!!! We've upgraded our bookstore - welcome to the finest secondhand travel bookshop downunder

Our army of robot monkeys has been slaving away for a whole week to improve our beloved online travel bookshop.

We have moved onto a faster, beefier, industrial strength server to make UsedTravelBooks.com.au an even finer place to loiter.

We have also upgraded security. Any pages that require personal details are served via a secure SSL connection, it's always comforting to see that little padlock when entering personal information.

On the subject of security, we never store any customer financial details on our site whatsoever. All credit card payments are handled by Paypal. The beauty of Paypal is that we don't even see your financial details, all we know is that you have paid and it's time to post your booty. Payment by cheque and bank deposit is also welcomed for folks who don't like putting their details on the net.

Also for your browsing pleasure we have added a whole bunch of new categories to make what your looking for easier to find. You can now not only browse by region but also by special interest: eg language, culture, travel food etc. 

We are nearing our first milestone of having a thousand books listed. It's a lot of work to individually photograph and describe each book, the robot monkey army has done us proud. We intend to build our humble little store into the world's finest online specialist travel bookshop over the coming years. So get in now before we get famous and jack the prices up :-)
