Payment & Postage FAQ

$6.90 all-you-can-read Australia-wide postage!

Buy as many books as you like and pay no more only $6.90 postage Australia-wide. This includes all our books and there are no limits, buy a whole truckload if  you like, postage will be no more than $6.90 Australia-wide. That's below cost, that's a bargain! 

Single book postage is $6.90 (or free!)

Postage per book is either $6.90 or free as noted on the product details page.  Books posted for $6.90 are posted as parcels, well-packed with bubble wrap etc for safety.  Skinny books are posted for free as we can mail them as letters, this saves you money but there is a slight risk of the book getting damaged in the mail, though we have never had any complaints in years of mailing books.

Do we post outside Australia?

At the moment we only post within Australia. International postage is expensive, though fast and reliable. If you are desperately after one of our rare books please ask. Depending on the weight\thickness of the book international postage will most likely be between $10-$25. 

We accept Paypal, credit card, bank deposit, cheque and money order

Simply choose your preferred option when you checkout. 

Secure credit card payments with Paypal (no Paypal account required)

We choose Paypal to process credit payments, it is the safest and most convenient way to pay on the web.  The beauty of Paypal is that we never, ever, ever see your financial details. And you don't need a paypal account. 

When you checkout, click the yellow 'Checkout with Paypal' button and you will be  redirected to the Paypal website (it may take ten or twenty seconds). 

Paypal will give you the option to pay without a Paypal account as you can see below. Simply enter your credit card and address details,  Paypal will then send you  back to this website, remember to hit the final 'submit' button to confirm your purchase.  It's really easy.

How do I know when you have received my payment?

I will send you an email to let you know the payment has been received and again when your treasure has been posted.

When will you post my treasure?

I do a post run every day of the week. All books are posted on the same day or business day following cleared payment. I will send an email to confirm when your goodies have been posted.

Can I return my purchases?

If you change your mind about your purchase you are welcome to send it back within two weeks of purchase for a full refund, please note postage is at your cost and we cannot be responsible should returned items go missing in the post.

What if my books are not in the condition described?

We work hard to make accurate descriptions of the condition of each book, plus we take multiple photos of each and every book so you know exactly what you are getting. 99.9% of the time we get it right, but if we make a mistake and your item is not as described we will cheerfully refund you, we make ask for the books to be sent back but if it is our mistake we will cover the return postage.

What if my books get lost in the post?

We will refund you in full in the very unlikely event that your item goes missing in the post. We will however ask you to wait up to four to six weeks as 99.9999999% of items show up  eventually.
